Tiny Little Crochet Flower Hair Clip
These tiny little crocheted flowers are so quick and easy to make. They’re super tiny, and perfect for babies and toddlers with just a little bit of hair (my girls didn’t have enough hair for bows until they were well over 1).
Materials:
-Size F Crochet Hook (various sizes can be used to achieve different size flowers)
-Worsted weight yarn (cotton or acrylic will work fine)
-Small amounts of grosgrain ribbon
-2 alligator clips
-small buttons or jewels for center of flower
Directions:
Ch 2
Round 1: 5 sc into first ch. Pull tail to tighten.
Round 2: sl st in top of first SC. *ch 2. dc, hdc, sl st* into each stitch around. You will have a total of five little petals. Cut yarn and weave ends. Sew a button or jewel to the center of the flower and it’s finished!
Now that you’ve finished, all you need is a lined alligator clip. Use a hot glue gun to attach the flowers to alligator clips. A perfect, simple flower hair clip for the little ladies in your life!
Great flower pattern! I used it to accent a pair of mittens that I made: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/smitha-r/post-stitch-mitts
Super cute! I love the mittens and your color choice! Thanks so much for sharing the link.
Love them! Now I just need something to embellish with them.
I know! Did you check out the mittens Smitha posted? So adorable! I also think they're great for itty bitty hair clips… that is if you have a little cutie to put them on!
Thank you for being willing to share your patterns with us. It truly is a great flower!

Hi Lauren! These are adorable flowers! I was wondering if it would be possible to get a few photos or more detail on how you attached the ribbon and the flowers to the alligator clips; I would greatly appreciate it!
Love it! I just posted a picture of my completed baby boots in which I used this flower. If you want to check it out, it's on my facebook page, Ali-cat's Amigurumi. –> https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.230576337103435.1073741832.213058548855214&type=3&uploaded=7#!/alicatsamigurumi
