After making blankets for a while, hats are such a nice change. I guess I feel the same way when I’ve been making hats nonstop, too. This little bear hat is so fun. I wish it were cooler in Florida so the girls could start wearing them. Seeing that my girls were pouring sweat at the playground today, I’m not thinking that’s going to happen anytime soon.
Those of you who crochet might want to make your own hat like this one. I purchased the pattern from Blue J Crochet (closed now). The flower pattern is loosely based off this pattern from Stitch of Love. I totally decided to wing it when it came to the leaf so I don’t have a pattern I can send you to. The ears are very similar to the ears used in my free monkey hat pattern.
