Free Crochet Patterns {Simple Daisy Crochet Pattern}
If you’d like to make some for yourself or to crochet them for charity, here’s how!
Materials:
-H crochet hook
-Small amounts of worsted weight yarn
-Buttons, needle, and thread for embellishing
-Tapestry Needle/Scissors for finishing
Directions:
Ch 2.
Round 1: 5 sc into the first ch. Sl st into the first sc.
Round 2: *ch 4, 3 tc, ch 4, sl st* in the first stitch. *sl st, ch 4, 3 tc, ch 4, sl st* in each of the remaining stitches (5 petals formed). Fasten off and weave ends.
Leave a long tail to sew the flower onto a project, or weave in the ends and make a flower hair clip by gluing it to an alligator clip.

I am a little confused on this pattern. It says chain 2 then you go right into round one. Are you using a magic circle or do you slip stitch it after you do the chain 2?
